Another Day Older

Wow!!  Three posts in one day!  I think that is a record for me!  Today is my 38th birthday and my birthday treat to myself was to have my hair done.  Here is what I look like now (and yes I know it's a lot different then my blog photo!)  Tell me what you think.
Don't look at the background... I told you my blog was me and my messy room. I meant it literally! lol. You know what they say "creativity comes out of chaos".

New Cherry-O Layout

This was such a quick layout to do using the Cherry-O Level 1 pack.  Took me maybe 10 minutes max.  Seriously!  For everyone who says they don't have time to scrapbook hasn't been introduced to Close To My Heart's products.  Get in touch with me and I can tell you all about it. ;-)

New Layouts

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of spending the day with some of the best ladies in the world, scrappin' at "the Rock" in Valdese, NC.  I completed a few new layouts using It's A Guy Thing, Majestic Blue and Moondoggie paper packs. I even won prizes for 2 of them.  So excited!  First time I have won for a page layout.
I used it's a guy thing for this layout of my son's VBS soccer camp. I also used my Cricut for the embellishments.

I used Moondoggie paper pack for this 2 page layout of my daughter. I used CTMH stamps and ink and made a lot of tiny cuts along the edges of the the phot mats to try and give it that beachy feel.
Another beach layout of my kids.  I can't remember off the top of my head which CTMH paper pack I used for this layout.  I also used CTMH white daisy and Indian Corn blue ink with the large chocolate alphabet and August word puzzle stamp sets, and foundry plates under the pictures.  My stamping is not straight by far on this layout but I think it gives it more character.

I hope you have enjoyed my new layouts as much as I did making them.  Feel free to leave a comment or a question.  ;-)
